Marlborough end of trail (image 1 of 24)
The southern end of the path at Lincoln Street converts a 4-way intersection into a 5-way with an awkward angle between the path (left rear in photo) and Highland Street (right rear). An alternate termination at Mechanic Street has been considered and could avoid some of the problems. There is also a need to consider designation, marking and improvement of routes to and from the trail. A design drawing of the end of the trail is available on the arrt.org Web site.
